Kiren’s portrait photography tells the stories of his models and reveals how low and high-key lighting makes a dramatic photo. I wish to explore this in my own work, doing portrait photography in a similar style.

Journal~Images of Inspiring Work
This blog post involves a written journal of my ideas, including images of inspiring work as well as before and after photos of my editing process.
These images were found as inspiration for my high and low-key lighting portrait photography. Focusing on high contrast and finding real models with no filter, that tell a real story. Showing their individual features and freckles. Getting up close to the models and really focusing on the features on their faces, with high contrast. I will be recreating this type of work focusing on models' faces using high and low key lighting to create shadows and high contrast.
